Former Norton Rose lawyers open new Dallas intellectual property firm

Dallas Business Journal: Two former Norton Rose Fulbright attorneys have opened a new intellectual property boutique firm in downtown Dallas aimed at keeping IP litigation costs low.

The new firm, RegitzMauck PLLC, has been opened by SMU grads Mike Regitz and Dustin Mauck, who have a combined 20 years experience in the field.

“Costs associated with intellectual property litigation have exploded in recent years, and a significant portion of those costs can fairly be attributed to legacy systems, practices, and habits that are not sufficiently aligned with client objectives,” said Regitz, who is registered at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The duo are able to keep costs low by implementing the latest technology on behalf of clients and using third-parties, Mauck said.

“Having learned our trade at one of the most well-respected law firms in the world, we provide services that are attractive to clients who recognize that high quality legal representation does not necessarily have to come at a high price,” he said.

The firm has set up its office in 1700 Pacific Avenue in downtown Dallas.
